Alpha Industrial to develop logistic park in Munich

German logistics and industrial reality specialist Alpha Industrial is to develop Logistikpark München Ost at Pliening, in the east of Munich. The project will feature 32,000 m2 of logistics space on a total property size of 44,000 m2.

Alpha Industrial will invest EUR 26.5 mln in the purchase and development of the plot.

'With our Logistikpark München Ost we want to provide a rapid solution to companies that need modern and top-quality logistics space,' said Jörg Schröder, Managing Partner of Alpha Industrial.

Ratioform Verpackungen is the first tenant leasing 18,500 m2 of logistics space. In second phase of the project, Alpha Industrial is developing 13,500 sqm of speculative space. Realogis has the exclusive mandate.

The official ground-breaking took place on 6 May 2011. The handover to Ratioform Verpackungen is scheduled for October 2011.
