Alberto Gomez to head PM team at Savills Spain

International real estate advisor Savills has appointed Alberto Gómez as head of its property management department in Madrid. In addition, the team has been further strengthened by the recruitment of consultants Elena del Villar, Elena Pérez, Pedro de los Mozos and Miguel Rey.

Gómez, who has 18 years experience in real estate, has acted as head of Savills office agency department in Madrid since 2007. Previously he worked in property management at CB Richard Ellis in Madrid for 10 years.

During Gómezs extensive experience in property mangagement he has worked with important clients including Barclays, Rodamco, Invesco, Axa Real Estate, Union Investment Real Estate. As head of Savills Madrid's property management department, which he joined in January 2011, Gómez leads a team of nine professionals who manage over 400,000 m2 of real estate.

Alberto's appointment is part of Savills global initiative to expand its property services. The pan-European team manage a floor area of approximately 10.5 million m2 and advise major international clients such as Henderson Global Investors and Union Investment.

Savills Madrid office agency department will now be headed by Ana Zavala who joined the company in January 2011 having previously worked at Colliers and Jones Lang Lasalle.
