Albania's largest mall opens in Tirana

The largest shopping centre in Albania has opened its doors in the vicinity of the capital Tirana. Developed by AM Group, City Park shopping mall houses 180 stores on a site located 12 km from Tirana and 5 km from Tirana International Airport.

The complex comprises nearly 40,000 m2 of leasable area, 6,000 m2 of children's recreational space called Cartoonland, a 12,000 m2 car showroom, and a 12,000 m2 hotel featuring conference facilities. The centre also features a 11,000 m2 media centre, a 10,000 m2 festival and concert centre and 3,000 parking spaces.

Colliers International Southeast Europe was chosen as the exclusive leasing agent for the scheme. Major tenants in the mall include Euronics, Mercator, and Intersport. Other retailers in the complex are United Colors of Benetton, Sisley, Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Cacharel, Toi & Moi, Societta, Altin Bas, Primo Emporio, Versace Home, and children's brands One2Play and Chicco.

AM Group was founded by Artan Mene in 1991 and is currently led by British CEO Bruce Henderson.
