AIK purchases Hague office building

Apo Immobilien-Kapitalanlagegesellschaft (AIK) has bought the 4,193-m2 office property in The Hague for EUR 12 mln.

The German property investment company acquired Gebouw Hofstaete located at 15-25 Parkstraat in The Hague on behalf of one of its real estate open-ended funds from ING Dutch Office Funds, an unlisted real estate fund managed by ING Real Estate Investment Management Netherlands.

The main tenant Rijksgebouwendienst, the Dutch government buildings agency, signed a five-year lease for approximately 1,770 m2 in March this year and other tenants include KNCV and Vitae Nederland. Approximately 700 is vacant.

Savills advised AIK, while ING REIM NL was advised by Deltastate and NautaDutilh.

AIK is an associated company of Deutsche Apotheker- und Ärztebank, a German financial service provider in the health care sector. AIK owns a pan-European portfolio of 135 office and retail buildings valued at EUR 1.7 bn.
