Acciona sells building in Valencia for EUR 24m

Spanish energy and construction group Acciona has sold the Alameda office building in Valencia to the Zriser Group. The transaction price amounts to EUR 24.3 mln. The property offers 11,200 m2 of office space and an underground parking lot on three levels. Major tenants in the building include Vodafone and engineering group Typsa.

The investment represents the first acquisition in the real estate sector by the Zriser Group. In a statement on Friday, the investment holding company of the Spanish Serratosa Luján family said that it has been looking at investments in the real estate sector since the beginning of the credit crisis. The private investor is currently looking for further commercial properties situated in prime locations and leased to solid tenants, president Pablo Serratosa told Spanish newspaper Las Provincias.
